We are looking for a motivated and commercially focused individual who has a background in either public affairs, communications or community engagement, as well as demonstrable experience in the built environment. Ideally you will have previous consultancy experience, alongside a willingness and ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and run projects independently. We are also looking for an individual who can facilitate workshop sessions and organise meaningful engagement events that bring our clients and communities closer together.
The successful candidate will also be able to identify and generate new business opportunities and contribute to our business development strategy. This opportunity would suit an existing Account Director or, potentially an experienced Account Manager, wishing to make the next step in their career.

· Develop a strong understanding of our clients’ strategic objectives
· Help clients achieve their objectives by delivering sound, well-evidenced communications and engagement advice

· Facilitate workshops, organise and participate in pop-up events and workshops and develop targeted engagement strategies to support the key objectives of the projects
· Organise and attend networking events and pitch meetings
Essential skills and knowledge include:
· Project management skills and the ability to work across several projects at the same time
· Ideally, experience of working in a consultancy environment although that does not have to be communications related
· A strong understanding of how stakeholder and community engagement works, including the role political stakeholders play in determining key investment and planning related decisions
· Excellent writing and good presentation skills
· An ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues and clients
In return, we will offer:
· A competitive salary and additional bonus opportunities
· Significant flexibility in working arrangements, including the facilitation of remote working should that be your preference
· Support for you to develop new skills
· Exposure to international markets, including the potential to travel
· A professional but fun work environment
